  They were so kind and accommodating. They were truly helpful and caring during a time of crisis. They allowed us to have a very non-traditional memorial service.

  I recently discovered one of my childhood friends had passed on and Hewett-Arney Funeral home handled her burial. I had been looking to reconnect with my past. They were so understanding and polite when we called and they passed on my information to the family. I'm happy to report that I will have a reunion with my long-lost childhood friend after 50 years of absence. Thank you so much

  My sister passed away in Temple, Texas, but all of her family lived out of town. We found the Hewett-Arney Funeral Home and reached out to them for assistance. We could not have been more pleased with the support that Amanda Arney and David Alexander provided us. It was difficult enough trying to plan services for our sister and then having to do it from a distance made it harder. Amanda and her staff took great care of us and were always available by phone or email to offer guidance and support. The day of the service, everything looked beautiful. They were there at just the right time throughout the service to ensure that our sister’s and family’s needs were handled. While it was a sad and joyful day, the Hewett-Arney Funeral Home helped ensure that we were able to celebrate our sister’s life in the best possible way. We will be eternally grateful for them and their support.

  They were absolutely fantastic to work with. Our family is extremely diverse and they were able to accommodate all of our needs. They showed great compassion and they truly respected my son in his passing.

  Hewett-Arney Funeral Home truly treats everyone like family. Everyone there is very caring and is opened to answering all your questions. I went in as a walk in to do some pre arraignments so we knew prices and information because my grandma was 87. The doctors told us she had about 6-12 months before she would pass away. She ended up passing away 3 days after I visited Hewett-Arney. It was the middle of the night when the hospital called us to tell us she had passed. I gave them the card from the funeral home and they made the call for us. Shortly after giving them the card Amanda called to let us know that someone would be on the way shortly. The sweet lady that came to pick up my grandma was so patient and waited in the hallway until we left the hospital floor.
  That same morning I met with Amanda at the funeral home to go over the cost and she explained everything to me. I live in Alabama but was in Texas when this all happened. The funeral home called to let me know that the death certificate came in. They mailed them to me and even did a follow up call to make sure I got them. We had my grandma cremated and will be holding her service in July.
  From the start and up to know I have been very pleased with everyone here. My mom said that she knows who will be taking care of her when she passes and that will be Hewett-Arney. This is all because of the great care they gave my grandma and our family during this time.
